The next step to make your Internet Security is to be extremely cautious about the type of files you open or download. Most of the virus actually is spread through email attachments. Having them on your computer, in your inbox, not the danger, the real danger is when you open the link. It may not be obvious that something happened when you first open the link containing the virus, quite often seems blank. The damage is caused by the program that is activated in the link. If you do not know and trust, the person who sent the link and then delete the email.
