Yuppies used to be hippies in the 60's/70's. Pink Floyd was THE band then get stoned to. Unfortunately, many didn't take PK's lyrics to heart & later joined "The Establishment" and the pursuit of wealth.

I fear that many yuppies who attend Pink Floyd's shows (or rather solo members thereof) now don't realize (or don't want to realize) what polar opposite their lives & PF's songs have become. They like the songs but have forgotten the meaning and importance of the lyrics.

you spelled dying wrong unless you mean dyeing like dyeing your hair , whats mo-do ?
i'm assuming that this song is pretty long because you have like a lot of guitar solos, well i mean not long but mellow and you have like actual singing instead of a very fast rhythm, its slow , i personally like fast paced music.

this part:
don't ever slow the pace
don't even stop to breathe

i think it'd be really cool if you do it trippy, fast and very breathy if you know what i mean, thats pretty cool

i dont like this part:
if for a moment you will stop
this life will take you down

and this part:
the climax is closing
the end is nearing

and i really like this part, imagery is very good:
as your hands tbegin to shake
(guitar 1 & 2 play synchronized harmony for 20 seconds then guitar 1 breaks off and plays a really fast solo while guitar 2 maintains harmonic pattern)
(at the end of the solo the trippy echo part sarts again)
dont ever slow the pace

for this part, i dont like it only because you dont keep the same tense:
watch this city fall
this world going up in flame
–it would be cooler like this:
watch this city fall
this world go up in flames
–so you maintain the same tense

the obvious suicide ie roulette
it might sound cool, if you do record it or something put it on youtube and just email me to listen to it okay? cuz i would really like to hear it

If they refuse to replace it then make a scene, start waving the booklet around and shouting

Is it not possible to fix? Where did it rip at the joins or down the middle of a page? Wait a while and it will come down in price and you can buy it again and sell the CDs on ebay, someone will want to buy it and not care about the booket. Or look for someone selling it on its own.
