Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and John Lennon's and George Harrison's estates get their share of royalties from the album sales. Michael jackson gets the publishing fees which includes the albums as well. There is alot of confusion on this issue. Most think that The Beatles are left out in the cold and do not get anything from Beatles sales. That is not true. Michael Jackson owns the publishing rights. This includes sheet music, radio play, ROCKBAND games, and so on. Actually, the surviving Beatles get a 30% share of it. Michael has the controlling interest, however. Michael does not have as much control as most think, though. For example, Michael has no control of the master tapes–EMI does. EMI has the right to release or not release any song they want. EMI has the control to put the music online to sell. Michael Jackson and the surviving Beatles have no control over that. They do not own the master tapes. However, Michael Jackson or any body else can record any Beatles song as a cover song, but they would have to pay Michael Jackson to do it. Song rights are like products in a store, they can be sold, traded given away whatever. It is unlikely that Michael Jackson's estate will sell the songs anytime soon. Michael let Sony Music have part of the Beatles songs to help pay for his legal services, but this was only a loan until he pays them back. If he does, Sony will have control of those songs. But remember, they won't be able to release those songs on CD because EMI owns the master tapes. Sony will only be able to get money from the publishing rights.
This is confusing but the Beatles ROCKBAND will give you a good idea of what is going on here: EMI licensed the master tapes to ROCKBAND to use the actual Beatles recordings which requires a fee. Meanwwhile, ROCKBAND pays a publishing fee to Michael Jackson (and 30% of this goes to the surviving Beatles and the late Beatles estates).
It's easy to say so and so should own their own songs, but Michael Jackson bought the song legally and there was nothing underhanded about it. Remember, Paul McCartney owns many song rights too. He owns the Buddy Holly catalogue as well as many Broadway musicals.

There are appraisers who will tell you what your albums are worth. Also you can check books for the price. But there were many, many Beatle and Van Morrison albums put out so I would not expect the value to be very high.
I have not a clue…but you can be sure that it's ALOT! More money than I could ever DREAM of having in a lifetime! But they deserve it…there's never been a band that comes close! (Except Frampton, of course.)

the estate owns 25%,sony owns 75%,paul himself owns the rights to "love me do","please please me",p.s. i love you",and "ask me why",about 1994 or 1995,jackson sold half the catalog to sony(probably to help pay his 1993-1994 legal bills),this also gave mj a stake in sony's song catalog.then a couple of years ago in exchange for loaning michael 300 million dollars,sony would have the right to buy half of michael share of the catalog.
